Bio

Demps, born Kaitlynn “Katie” Dempsey, is a multi-talented Nashville-based social media influencer, country artist, and former podcast host whose infectious personality and love for music have made her a beloved personality on social media.

Originally from Plant City, Florida, Demps grew up surrounded by the strawberry fields, with a soundtrack that blended Motown, rock 'n roll, and country music. After moving to Nashville nearly a decade ago to chase her dreams, Demps quickly made her mark as a social media sensation, gaining millions of followers with her charming, comedic flair.

Her ability to connect with her audience and promote her favorite artists earned her partnerships with major record labels, including Warner Music Nashville, BMG, Sony Music Nashville, and BBR Music Group, among others. Through these collaborations, she has played a pivotal role in successful music promotion campaigns. She has also previously partnered with brands such as Invisalign, Spotify, Truly Beauty, Molly Green, Crumbl Cookie, Sonic, Harper Ellis and more.

While Demps has thrived in the digital world, she's also making her mark as a country artist in her own right. She’s carving out her place in country music with standout tracks like “Bitch On Wine” and “Who’s Who,” both written by Kelsea Ballerini, as well as “If You Were a Country Girl,” penned by HARDY, and “Forgot to Take a Picture,” written by Maren Morris and “I Care What You Think,” penned by award-winning producer Jimmy Robbins, who has also produced all of her releases. These songs are a part of her growing music catalog, through her partnership with Mailbox Money Records and distributor EMPIRE.

Her rise as an artist has not gone unnoticed, with country superstar Kelsea Ballerini herself praising Demps' version of "Who’s Who," saying, "I've always loved this song from the second it was written. I'm so happy she found a home with you, you sound like a dream and like it's always meant to be yours."

The 31-year-old independent artist has now begun to pursue songwriting herself and has already written several songs inspired by her life and past relationships, which will be released in the near future. “Boy Bye” will mark the beginning of a new chapter for Demps, as it is the first song that she is releasing that she had a hand at writing.

As a single mother to 9-year-old daughter Lily Lynn, Demps has been very open about the balance between her career and motherhood, sharing her real-life experiences with her audience in real time on social media. Her authenticity has made her a relatable and admired figure in the industry.

Demps’ music and presence continue to make waves, with her songs appearing on top-tier playlists from Amazon Music, CMT, and Spotify. She has been featured in major outlets such as People, The Tennessean, American Songwriter, Country Now, Holler, Substream Magazine and more, as well as appeared on several popular podcasts, including Bunnie Xo’s The Dumb Blonde Podcast, Tracy Lawrence’s Road House and more.

Her genuine content and charisma has also earned her appearances on the red carpet at prestigious events like the CMT Music Awards and CMA Awards, as well as hosting duties on the red carpet, where her bubbly personality shines through.

Demps has not only released music videos of her own for “If You Were A Country Girl” and “Who’s Who,” but she has also starred in other artists’ videos, including Nate Smith (“Whiskey On You”), Tigirlily Gold (“Shoot Tequila”), Jay Webb (“Broken”) and more.

From viral social media moments to breaking into the country music scene, Demps is making her mark as one of Nashville’s most promising and versatile artists, influencers, and media personalities.
